During a crucial phase of the sprint, Mercedes’ more experienced driver, George Russell, attempted an overtake on his young teammate, Antonelli. The manoeuvre led to Antonelli feeling he had been unfairly pushed off the track. His frustration was palpable, erupting over the team radio in a series of agitated messages.
