San Diego, CA – Justin Marks, the visionary founder and team owner of the highly successful Trackhouse Racing organization, is set to make a return to the driver’s seat in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Marks will pilot the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in the inaugural Truck Series event to be held at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, with support from long-time partner Jockey.
This marks a significant personal racing engagement for Marks, who has steered Trackhouse Racing to remarkable heights since its inception in 2021. The Cup Series team, known for its innovative approach and success, has amassed 15 victories in the premier NASCAR division, including a prestigious win in the 2025 Coca-Cola 600. Trackhouse Racing currently fields entries for notable drivers such as Ross Chastain in the No. 1 Chevrolet, Connor Zilisch in the No. 88 Chevrolet, and Shane van Gisbergen in the No. 97 Chevrolet.
Prior to his prominent role as a team owner, Justin Marks carved out his own accomplished racing career. His résumé boasts starts across all three major NASCAR national series, demonstrating a broad experience in stock car racing. Notably, he secured a victory in a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2016, highlighting his capabilities as a competitor.
The upcoming race at Naval Base Coronado will represent Marks’ 40th career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. His most recent outing in the series was at Mid-Ohio in the 2022 season. While a Truck Series victory has eluded him thus far, Marks has demonstrated considerable speed and potential in the division, having earned two pole positions and achieving a best career finish of eighth place.

Marks’ racing pedigree extends beyond stock cars. He also achieved considerable success in sports car racing, capturing eight victories in the Rolex Grand-Am Sports Car Series, which is now part of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) sanctioning body. His notable achievements include a class victory in the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona in 2009, showcasing his versatility and endurance racing prowess.
