Trackhouse Racing is poised to introduce another high-profile international talent to the NASCAR Cup Series, announcing that Danish Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen will make his debut at the inaugural San Diego street course race on June 21. The historic event, set to take place on a 3.4-mile circuit at Naval Base Coronado, marks the first-ever Cup Series race to be held on an active military installation.
Magnussen will pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet, a car that has become synonymous with Trackhouse Racing’s Project 91 initiative.
