Bowman Gray Stadium, NC – RFK Racing has announced that veteran driver Corey LaJoie will step into the No. 6 Ford Mustang for the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium, stepping in for the injured Brad Keselowski. Keselowski, co-owner of RFK Racing, is currently sidelined as he recovers from a broken leg sustained in a skiing accident on December 18th.
The incident, which occurred while Keselowski was enjoying a family outing, necessitated surgery, which was reportedly successful. LaJoie, a 34-year-old driver with extensive experience in NASCAR’s top-tier series, brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record to the No. 6 Ford. His Cup Series career spans nearly 300 starts, demonstrating a consistent presence and competitive spirit. In the recently concluded 2025 season, LaJoie competed on a part-time basis, making four Cup Series starts and nine starts in the NASCAR Truck Series.
