Niece Motorsports has confirmed that three-time Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen will compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Watkins Glen International on May 8th. Van Gisbergen, a familiar face in the NASCAR Cup Series, will pilot the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado, marking his second career start in the Truck Series. He will be joined by his Cup Series teammate, Ross Chastain, who also drives for Niece Motorsports.
This upcoming appearance at Watkins Glen represents a significant opportunity for van Gisbergen to further showcase his road-racing prowess on American soil. Our fab and body shop have put in a tremendous amount of work building new road course trucks, and we’re confident in what we’re bringing to the track."
