Serena and Venus join del Potro, Federer and Sabatini at F1 Miami Grand Prix

Several Grand Slam champions attended the Grand Prix of Miami on Sunday, including Serena and Venus Williams, Gabriela Sabatini, Juan Martin del Potro and Roger Federer with his family. The event was held at Hard Rock Stadium, which is also the home of the Miami Open presented by Itaú since 2019. The Williams sisters had previously attended the F1 circuit in the U.S. for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix in 2020.

Serena Williams made an appearance in Miami just days after announcing her second pregnancy on the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City, where Federer was also present as one of the event’s co-chairs. Additionally, Maria Sharapova was in Miami for F1’s inaugural Accelerate Summit, where life & business coaches were gathered to discuss the future of technology, performance, diversity, and sustainability.

Other celebrities in attendance at the Miami Grand Prix included the Jonas Brothers, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Vin Diesel, and Patrick Mahomes. The Miami Grand Prix debuted last year at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, and has become a significant annual event in the area for racing fans to gather and watch the world’s best drivers compete.
